Yes it can, even though success rate is really high (90%) In certain cases, due to root physiology is impossible to access the nerve, preventing us from filling it. Sometimes, after endodontic treatment, tooth turns more fragile and can lead to root fractures, leading to the need of tooth extraction.

What’s a reendodontic treatment?

It consists of the endodontic procedure again. The aim of this technique is avoid tooth extraction. Its success rate is around 60%.
